Questions or concerns? Reading this privacy notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have any questions or concerns, please contact us at support@ballmecca.com.
1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Personal information you disclose to us
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.
The personal information we collect may include:
- Names, phone numbers, and email addresses

- Contact and authentication data
- Birthdate, gender, height, zip code, and sport(s)
Payment Data: Athlete payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.; we do not store your full card number. Coach subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Coaches who receive payouts provide tax and identity information (such as a Social Security or Taxpayer Identification Number) directly to Stripe for payouts and tax reporting — Ballmecca does not collect or store it.
Application Data: If you use our application(s), we may collect geolocation information, mobile device access data, push notifications, and other device information necessary to maintain security and operation of our application(s).
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, including:
- To facilitate account creation and authentication
- To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user
- To respond to user inquiries and provide support
- To send administrative information
- To fulfill and manage your orders
- To enable user-to-user communications
- To request feedback and contact you about your use of our Services
- To send marketing and promotional communications
- To protect our Services from fraud and security threats
- To identify usage trends and improve our Services
- To deliver personalized content and advertising
- To deliver relevant training content and connect you with coaches
3. WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH?
We share information with service providers ("subprocessors") that process it on our behalf, and in a few specific situations. We do not sell your personal information for money. Key subprocessors include:
- Google / Firebase — app hosting, database, storage, authentication, and website hosting
- Stripe — athlete payment processing and coach payouts (Stripe Connect)
- Apple & Google Play — billing for coach subscriptions purchased in-app
- Google Analytics — website usage analytics
- Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement and attribution (see Section 6 regarding "sharing")
We may also share information: with other users as needed to provide the coaching you request (for example, delivering your video to your chosen coach); in a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets); and to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services.
4. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot promise that hackers or unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security.
5. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
- The right to request access to your personal information
- The right to request correction or deletion of your personal information
- The right to restrict the processing of your personal information
- The right to withdraw consent at any time
- The right to opt out of marketing communications
You can make such requests by contacting us at support@ballmecca.com.
6. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS — SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, used, or shared; the right to delete or correct personal information; and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
We use analytics and advertising partners — including Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) — whose technologies may constitute "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. You have the right to opt out of this sharing. You can opt out using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our website footer, or by emailing support@ballmecca.com; we also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.
7. OTHER U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. To exercise any of these rights, email support@ballmecca.com; you may also appeal a decision by replying to our response. We do not use your personal information for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement.
8. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this notice, unless a longer period is required by law. As a general guide: account and profile data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure; uploaded video is kept for the period needed to deliver and support your coaching and then deleted or anonymized; and payment and tax records are kept as required by law (typically several years). When we no longer have a legitimate need, we delete or anonymize the information.
9. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?
Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this privacy notice periodically.
10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Ballmecca serves athletes of many ages, including children under 13 — but a child under 13 may use the Services only through a parent-managed account. We require that a parent or legal guardian create and control the account, consent to our collection of the child's information (including any performance video the child uploads), and supervise the child's use.
Consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): we seek a parent's consent before a child's personal information is collected; we limit what we collect from a child to what is needed to provide the coaching; we do not condition a child's participation on disclosing more than is reasonably necessary; and we do not knowingly permit behavioral or targeted advertising to children under 13.
A parent or guardian may review the personal information we have collected from their child, ask us to delete it, or refuse further collection by contacting support@ballmecca.com. If you believe a child has provided personal information without the required parental involvement, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. EUROPEAN UNION, EEA, AND UNITED KINGDOM
Ballmecca is based in the United States and primarily serves U.S. users; we do not actively target the EU, EEA, or UK. If you access the Services from those regions, the following applies. Our legal bases for processing are: performance of a contract (to provide the Services), your consent (for example, analytics and advertising cookies, and marketing), our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Services), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Because we operate from the United States, using the Services involves transferring your information to the U.S.; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses. To exercise any right, email support@ballmecca.com.
